![]() In order to get my issue resolved, I had made roughly about 8-10 calls within 24 hours to Costco regarding the situation and most importantly about their communication with my hotel. They do not cover any difference if it's booked elsewhere. Costco reps told me that if they could not reschedule with them, there was nothing they could do about it other than find alternatives and possibly I'd have needed to pay more money for a last minute booking at a different hotel. If they hadn't, I would have had to book a completely new resort and possibly be in penalty with the hotel which then costs a fee. I went with option 2 but I was fortunate that my hotel had the vacancy available to change my trip dates to match the same amount of days I originally planned for.
